Designed a Floating IoT-based Sun Tracking Solar Panel with a dual-axis motor system for precise sun tracking and remote performance monitoring. Optimized the design to be compact, incorporating 3D-printed parts for the prototype and wired electronics, and utilized Arduino systems for IoT integration. Sourced all components, 3D-printed the body, and conceptualized the design independently. The system featured real-time data collection and remote monitoring capabilities, allowing for efficient performance tracking and adjustments. Conducted thorough testing to ensure durability and efficiency, resulting in a robust and effective solution for maximizing solar energy capture.

The dual-axis motor system provided enhanced accuracy in tracking the sun’s movement, significantly increasing energy absorption throughout the day. Integrated sensors and IoT functionality enabled automatic adjustments and remote control, ensuring optimal alignment with the sun. The floating design allowed for deployment in various water bodies, making it suitable for different environments and increasing the versatility of solar power applications.
